A similar prayer project finished recently for Kerala, South India and as a result of this success story, the Dasaji's asked for people to pray for South Africa. The same 108 Blessing Givers for the Kerala Group were invited to support with the prayer project for South Africa.

Our thanks go to Janice Sangha Mitra, a Blessing Giver and the Project Leader for the 21-Day Prayer Project. The official start date for this project is scheduled for Tuesday 7 July, 2009 and will end on Monday evening 27 July, 2009.

World Oneness Day - Live Webcast Event - 7 March, 2009.

The World Oneness Day Live Webcast event, celebrating the 60th birthday of Sri Bhagavan, was held live in the Oneness Temple with Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan.

Colleen-Joy Page and Eugene Honey hosted the live webcast from their home situated in Cedar Lakes, Johannesburg.

Sri Bhagavan Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma transmitted the Oneness Blessing, together with the Oneness Beings, to everyone who joined on March 7th, 2009. This was facilited through a live video webcast from the large meditation hall of the Oneness Temple in India. This wonderful and unique opportunity to get in touch with Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavans powerful presence was made possible for everyone, regardless if you are a blessing giver or not.

Many ancient traditions world over particularly accord immense significance for the 60th year in one's life for it astrologically marks the completion of an important planetary cycle and is hence regarded as a confluence of highly auspicious energies. It was therefore the heartfelt prayer of countless Oneness Blessing Givers and deeksha friends all over the world to be in Sri Bhagavan's presence on this day.

As it would have been virtually impossible to house millions of interested participants in the Oneness Temple on this day, complicated due to the long journey, another alternative had to be investigated. Finally, the solution proved to be a live video webcast, so that everyone from all over the world was given the opportunity to partake in this special event.

Until now, and as part of the follow-up of their spiritual progress, these webcasts have been limited to the initiates of the Oneness Training programs alone. It was therefore a much-awaited gift for those who also whished to experience the presence of Sri Amma-Bhagavan. Amma and Bhagavan represent two inseparable expressions of the one same consciousness. There have been rare occasions in which Amma and Bhagavan have appeared together, and this one was definitely a very big surprise!

For the first time the webcast was relayed directly from the Oneness Temple which is a structure specially designed to elevate human consciousness. The event primarily included a message from Sri Bhagavan and a meditation in the presence of Sri Amma-Bhagavan for about 15-20 minutes.
